FIELD MANUAL
Best Starting Class in Zero Company
How to choose a forgiving first role without pretending a pre-release tier list is final.
The short answer
There is no verified launch tier list yet. For a first campaign, favor a class whose job is easy to read from the battlefield: a frontline role, a durable anchor or a support role that teaches positioning.
Pick for learning, not for a spreadsheet
The best opening class is the one that makes you notice why a turn worked. Damage roles teach target priority. Durable roles teach cover and enemy attention. Support roles teach action economy and squad sequencing.
What to avoid
Do not treat preview impressions as final balance. A class that feels strong in a short hands-on build may depend on unrevealed mission pacing, weapon availability or progression unlocks.
